| Powder Compaction Press for Very Small-Size or Thin Parts |
| Multipak 3-Mode Press (Pentronix) |
The multipak 3-mode presses offer three types of molding methods:
- Molding with anvil and lower punches
(for relatively simple parts which are one-sided flat)
- Molding with upper and lower punches
(for parts with multi-leveled surface on both sides)
- Molding with anvil, upper, and lower punches
(for complex shaped parts) Double-action molding is also possible.
Compaction pressure 2 to 31 tons |
The most suitable mode is easily determined on the basis of the molded part shapes and production efficiency. The mode can be easily switched between any of the three by replacing the die set (tooling setup preparation) and the cam in the press. |
